Heage Windmill, Heage

Heage Windmill, nestled in the Derbyshire countryside is a stunning piece of living history. Built in 1797, it stands today as the only working six-sailed stone tower windmill in England.

The fully working mill was opened to the public on 1 June 2002. The Miller stone-grinds UK-sourced organic wheat to produce an array of artisanal flours.

Etcha visited Heage Windmill with a clear mission: to capture its intricate, historic architecture through 360-degree video and still photography. The goal was to create a digital archive and a virtual experience footage for The Friends of Heage Windmill.
