We provide high-definition drone inspections for residential and commercial roofs across Derbyshire. Our Aerial Photographs clearly show the faults revealed on these roofs and have been marked up accordingly indicating the defects of flashing, broken tiles, chimney repointing & haunching, faulty ridge tiles, solar panel defects, blocked gutters and all valley tile & eaves issues. This chimney stack (circled red) has suffered rain & frost ingress & has perished the haunching on top of the chimney. The danger is the chimney pots have become loose.
The blue ridge tiles (circled red behind) do not appear to have any mortar in the joints. We recommend to re-bed & repoint all ridge tiles on this section.

The haunching on the top of the chimney stack (circled in purple) is perished. This is a good example of what water ingress & freezing temperatures can cause. These pots are now in a dangerous state as in high winds there is a risk of them blowing off the stack causing damage.

The red circles highlight the problems with this roof. The under eaves tiles beneath the ridge have broke away & need replacing. At the rear of the roof the haunching on the chimney is ready to be replaced as the mortar is cracked and wearing away due to rain & frost damage.

The purple circled areas show the problems with this roof. The flashing is loose & has come away from the brickwork around the base of the chimney stack. A temporary repair has been made to the valley tiles with lead soakers (which is not an ideal fix).
Our CAA Approved Pilot is experienced and qualified to act as a remote Pilot holding the A2 CofC for period of over five years. We have been flying drones for over seven years.
We are covered by Indemnity Insurance.
